CPN-UML leader Madhav Kumar Nepal has said the caretaker government should not designate the chiefs in the seven provinces.
Speaking at a program organized in the capital on Wednesday, Nepal said it would be unethical on part of the government to appoint province chiefs and representatives that is likely to have far-reaching consequences when a fresh public mandate has emerged in the country.
The communist forces had waged a long struggle to empower people in the country, he said, making it clear that the formation of the left government would not bring authoritarian and autocratic regime.
Nepal, the newly-elected member in the House of Representative from the Kathmandu constituency-2, said they would enforce zero tolerance against corruption and make efforts for maintaining good governance in the country.
