CPN-UML General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel has said that the country would be ushered toward development in coordination with all political parties in the country.
Addressing a victory rally at Tokha in Kathmandu Wednesday, Pokharel, who won a Kathmandu-5 parliamentary seat, argued that all should be united for nation's development by respecting people's verdict.
Pokharel claimed that the leftist alliance would form a government after two-thirds majority and would bring a sea-change in the country in terms of development.
" We will work diligently for the greater good of the country rather than basking in the glory of the overwhelming success of election," he said, adding," We will not let down the people by doing anti-national works."
Pokharel reaffirmed his commitment to accelerate the development works in his constituency and to take into consideration the recommendations of the voters while serving the people.
