CPN-UML leader Subas Chandra Nembang has said the left alliance will fulfill the promises it has made to the people in the elections.
Nembang was elected to the House of Representatives from the Ilam district constituency number 2.
Addressing the program organized to thank the voters at Kolbote of Phakfokthum rural municipality in the district Wednesday, he said, they would fulfill the promises made to the people before the elections and would give development to the people, not hollow promises.
"We won the elections due to your immense love and trust to us. What you want is development and we will fulfill that," Nembang said.
Comparing the Ilam constituency-2 to the remote and underdeveloped Karnali region, he said the responsibility of developing the area has now come on their shoulder which he promised to fulfill.
He said development and prosperity were the need of the region and expressed the commitment to take the country forward on the path of economic prosperity.
State Assembly member from Ilam constituency number 2 (B), Dhirendra Sharma (Raman) also reiterated to fulfill the people's aspirations for development and prosperity. For this, the development of infrastructures would be prioritized, he added.
