The National People's Front (NPF) has said it was positive on the unification of the left political parties.
The NPF, which entered into the alliance with the CPN-UML and the CPN (Maoist Center) in some districts in the House of Representatives and State Assembly elections, has described the election results as 'encouraging'. It has stressed that the voters and cadres' expectation is the formation of a strong communist party.
Party chairman Chitra Bahadur KC has suggested going for party unification building a strong ground by reaching the right understanding on principles, politics and organization.
In a press statement he issued Wednesday, KC has emphasized on moving ahead toward protecting the nationality, implementation of the constitution and achieving the goal of people's democracy while uniting against the reactionary and expansionist forces.
