The vote counting of 134 constituencies of House of Representatives (HoR) and 285 of provincial assembly has been over so far.
Out of 165 constituencies under the House of Representatives, vote counting of 134 constituencies has concluded while out of 330 constituencies towards Provincial Assembly, vote counting of 285 constituencies has so far concluded, said Election Commission of Nepal's Spokesperson Nawaraj Dhakal.
According to the latest information made public by the Information System Management Section of the Commission, 134 members were elected to the HoR while 285 to the Province Assembly under the first-past-the-post election.
Among the elected, five women were elected to the HoR and 13 to the Provincial Assembly.
The elections to the HoR and Provincial Assembly were held in two rounds—November 26 and December 7.
As per the information received from the Commission as of 9 am Monday, vote counting of the first-past-the-post election under the HoR and Provincial Assembly elections was concluded in 37 districts out of 77 districts.
Likewise, the political parties securing more than 10,000 votes were CPN-UML which secured 328,628 votes while Nepali Congress got 326,674 votes.
Similarly, CPN (Maoist Center) obtained 160,116, votes while Rastriya Janata Party-Nepal received 24,840 votes.
Bibeksheel Sajha Party garnered 16,223 votes, while Rastriya Prajantantra Party got 14,060.
Moreover, Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal secured 13,879 votes, while Naya Shakti Party got 10,634 votes.
