Dahal wins from Chitwan-3

CPN (Maoist Center) Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal has been elected as a member of House of Representatives from Chitwan-3. Dahal garnered 48,276 votes to edge his rival contender from Rastriya Prajatantra Party-Prajatantrik Bikram Pandey who secured 38,932 votes. This is the first win of Dahal in his home district. He had won the first and second constituent assembly elections from Rolpa/Kathmandu and Siraha respectively.
