UML clinches victory in Saptari 4 (A)

Govinda Bahadur Neupane, representing the left alliance, has won Saptari 4 (A) Provincial Assembly seat with 15,113 votes. According to the result made public by the Chief Returning Officer in Saptari here Sunday, Neupane's closest rival Nepali Congress's Sitaram Sah conceded defeat with 11,395 votes. Neupane is the Chairperson of CPN-UML's Saptari District Chapter. Similarly, Federal Socialist Forum-Nepal's Dr Surya Narayan Yadav obtained 21,712 votes to be elected to the House of Representatives from constituency no 1 in Saptari district. His closest opponent was Ashok Mandal of the left alliance who got 18,225 votes.
