Lingden defeats Sitaula by over 13,000 votes

General Secretary of RPP Rajendra Lingden has been elected from Jhapa-3 defeating former general secretary of Nepali Congress (NC) Krishna Sitaula by 13,455 votes. Lingden, who was supported by the left alliance, garnered 44,614 votes while Sitaula received just 31,159 votes.
