UML leader Pokharel wins in Kathmandu 5

CPN-UML General Secretary Ishwor Pokharel representing the left alliance won Kathmandu constituency 5 parliamentary seat with a wide margin of vote. He received 23,029 votes, while his nearest rival Nepali Congress leader Prakash Sharan Mahat representing the democratic alliance secured 13,169 votes. Bibeksheek Sajha's Ujjwal Thapa is placed in third position with 6,813 votes. ---
