The Changunarayan municipality is to construct a modern luxury hotel with a view tower targeting the domestic and foreign tourists.
Mayor Som Mishra made this announcement while addressing a news conference here on Tuesday. He said the hotel would be constructed at Batasedanda of Nagarkot. It would be a 10 storied facility topped with a view tower.
The total estimated cost of the hotel is 1.53 billion rupees. It is said eight highest mountains can be seen from the view tower of the hotel which would be world-class. It would have four elevators, luxury rooms and a revolving restaurant on the 10th floor.
The construction of the hotel will be started from this year as per the public-private partnership concept.
The hotel would also have a cultural museum, shopping center, sculptures and handicraft arcade, meeting hall, fitness center, luxury room, swimming pool, among other facilities. It will occupy a total 150,000 square feet area and the hotel main structure will cover 14,500 square feet area.
