Man falls from bridge, dies

A person died after he fell from a bridge over the Manohara River here Wednesday. He is Prem Bahadur Tamang, 44, of Chautara Sangachowk Gadhi Municipality in Sindhupalchowk district. Tamang was walking on a wooden bridge over the river at Magargaon, Sanothimi of Mdhyapur Thimi Municipality-2 when he suddenly fell into the river. He sustained injuries and the police took him to the Korea-Nepal Friendship Hospital at Madhyapur Thimi. He died in course of treatment, the Metropolitan Police Circle, Thimi stated.
