At least six persons have been killed when a passenger bus fell into the Trishuli river after colliding with a truck in Fisling, Dhading Wednesday morning. The bus (Lu 2 Kha 291) going to Arghakhanchi from Kathmandu collided with a truck coming from the opposite direction, according to the police.
Four of the deceased passengers are men and two women, according to DSP with Chitwan Police Prabhu Dhakal.
The police have rescued 15 passengers including a kid boy. The total number of passengers who were travelling in the ill-fated bus is yet to be known but the police fear that there may have been more than 40 passengers. The bus has sunk into the river.
Nepal Army, Nepal Police and Armed Police Force (APF) men along with locals are currently involved in rescue works.
