Indian man held with $35,000

Makwanpur Police has arrested an Indian citizen with 35,000 US dollars on Thursday. A police team deployed from the Area Police Office, Pashupatinagar found the foreign currency while checking a passenger bus (Na 6 Kha 6291) going to Birgunj from Kathmandu at Ratomate, Hetauda-15 at around 5:45 in the morning. Shesh Nath Prasad of Eastern Champaran, Bihar had hidden the currency notes in his shoes. Prasad has been sent to Kathmandu for further investigations, according to Makwanpur Police.
