Naya Shakti Nepal led by Baburam Bhattarai is all set to release its election manifesto for the upcoming federal and provincial elections on Friday.
The party has included construction of cable car connecting Kathmandu with the Everest Base Camp in the manifesto.
Amid the talks of linking Nepal and China via railway, Bhattarai's manifesto has also incorporated the plan of construction of cable car from Nuwakot's Bidur to Kerung of China.
Meanwhile, the manifesto has also mentioned construction of cable car from Dipayal to connect Rara through Khaptad, and Surkhet to Jumla. It has also promised construction of cable car from Thawang to Dunai, Pokhara to Jomsom, Udayapur to Okhaldhunga, Dhankuta to Khandbari. The cover page of manifesto has prominently displayed cable car construction.
Nepal currently has cable car service only in Manakamana and Chandragiri, both operated by the private sector.
The party, in its manifesto, has proposed construction of an international level stadium and establishment of a sports university for development of sports.
The party has also confirmed its main electoral slogan, "Prosperity for all, respect for all and equal access to the government to everyone."
Bhattarai has prepared a separate manifesto after quitting the left alliance. The party is participating in the nearing election with 'left eye' as the election symbol.
