Supreme Court orders Bharat Mani Dahal presented within 24 hours

The Supreme Court has ordered that Bharat Mani Dahal be produced before the court within 24 hours.

A single bench of Justice Kumar Regmi issued the order to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers and other defendants, directing them to produce detainee Dahal before the court and submit a written response.

The order was issued while hearing a habeas corpus petition filed in connection with Dahal’s detention.

The court has directed the authorities to appear with the investigation file and the detainee within 24 hours of receiving the order, excluding the time required for travel.

The court has also ordered the defendants to submit a written response.

Police arrested Dahal on Sunday on cybercrime charges.
