A landslide has occurred near the dam of the Siprin Khola Hydropower Project, operated by Synergy Hydropower, in Gaurishankar Rural Municipality-9 of Dolakha district.
The landslide swept away a livestock shed, while an elderly man remains missing.
The shed belonged to 73-year-old Chasman Tamang (Tasman), a resident of Tasinam in Gaurishankar Rural Municipality-9. Tamang had been living in the shed built near the dam site.
Seven goats, nine cows, and three oxen inside the shed were also swept away by the landslide.
The landslide, which occurred around 1 a.m. on Wednesday, completely damaged the house where employees of the dam were staying.
Police said that four dam employees who were in an unsafe location were rescued at around 7:15 a.m.
