Umesh Chauhan resigns as Kantipur's editor-in-chief

Kathmandu, March 13

Umesh Chauhan has resigned as the editor-in-chief of Kantipur Daily.

He informed journalists about his resignation in the Kantipur newsroom in Tinkune.

Chauhan led the editorial team at Kantipur for five years. He will continue to head the newsroom until Kantipur Publications appoints a new editor.

Speaking to colleagues in the newsroom, Chauhan said that he had resigned after careful consideration, and that he was leaving on amicable terms.
