Indefinite curfew in some areas of Bhaktapur

Kathmandu, Sept 9

The Bhaktapur District Administration Office has also issued a curfew order on Tuesday.

Chief District Officer Namaraj Ghimire issued an indefinite curfew order effective from 8:30 Tuesday morning.

The curfew has been issued in the areas of Jadibuti, Radhe Radhe, Balkot, Nikosera, and Pepsicola.

The Kathmandu District Administration Office has also issued an indefinite curfew order within the Ring Road. The Lalitpur District Administration has also issued a curfew order in some areas of the Lalitpur Metropolitan City (LMC) effective from seven in the morning till midnight.

This comes after 19 people died in a Gen Z protest in New Baneshwor on Monday.
