A helicopter that left for Sindhupalchowk with Speaker Agni Sapkota has returned from Dhulikhel due to adverse weather conditions.
A team including Speaker Sapkota had left on a Nepal Army (NA) chopper Thursday morning to visit Bahrabise municipality of the district ravaged by floods and landslides following heavy rainfall since Wednesday night.
"A team including Speaker Sapkota that left on a helicopter for Bahrabise had to return from the sky of Dhulikhel in lack of favorable weather. We are awaiting improvement in weather," Sapkota's press advisor Sridhar Neupane said.
Floods following heavy rainfall since Wednesday night claimed two lives at Jambu in Bahrabise municipality in Sindhupalchowk district. Officials said 18 persons are missing in the landslides.
