Two-year-old girl dies in isolation ward of Bajura Hospital

A two-year-old girl undergoing treatment at the isolation ward of Bajura District Hospital has died Sunday morning.

The girl from Budhiganga municipality 1 had arrived from Delhi a week ago and showed symptoms like fever, diarrhea and respiratory problems, according to Hospital Chief Rup Chandra Bishwokarma.

She was unconscious when her parents brought her to the hospital four days back.

Her swab was sent to Dhangadi for COVID-19 test on Friday but the report has yet to arrive.

Bishwokarma said the hospital will decide about management of the body once the report arrives. The parents have also been isolated and tested.

The hospital has 12 beds in the isolation ward.
