Man with respiratory problems dies at ICU of Bharatpur Hospital

A man with respiratory problems has died at the intensive care unit (ICU) of Bharatpur Hospital Monday morning.

The 48-year-old from Ramgram, Nawalparasi had arrived at the hospital Sunday midnight on referral from Butwal. He was suffering from chest pain, respiratory problems and nausea when brought to the hospital, according to COVID-19 clinical team coordinator at the Bharatpur Hospital Dr Pramod Paudel.

He died at around three in the morning.

He was suffering from the complication for two days. The man's swab was collected in Butwal and sent for test but report has yet to arrive. The Bharatpur Hospital has also collected swab and sent for test.
