Nepal has recorded a whopping jump of 57 in the number of COVID-19 infection on Tuesday.
The new infections have been detected in Kapilvastu, Rupandehi, Parsa and Bara districts, according to the Health Ministry.
Thirty-nine of the infected persons are from Parsa, nine from Rupandehi, eight Kapilvastu and one Bara. All 57 persons are male, according to the ministry, and their health is normal.
The total number of infected persons has jumped to 191 with 33 of them returning home after recovery. Three out of those 33, however, have again been hospitalized after testing positive in follow-up test.
