The second infected person, a 19-year-old girl who had arrived from France via Doha, has returned home after staying at the hospital for 27 days.
She was admitted at the Shukraraj Tropical and Infectious Disease Hospital in the night on March 22 after testing positive for COVID-19.
Communication Expert to Health Minister Bhanubhakta Dhakal, Madhav Tiwari, told Setopati that she returned home on Saturday.
She had arrived on March 17 and was the second person to be infected in Nepal. A Nepali national returning from Wuhan a month before that had also tested positive.
