Boy dies after falling into pond

A minor from India drowned in a pond at Dakaneshwori municipality-3 of Saptari district Sunday. The deceased has been identified as a four-year-old Lalaku, son of Surendra Mukhiya of Madhubani district, Bihar state of India. The incident took place when the child, who had come to his maternal uncle's house, fell into the pond while he was playing, said locals. The body is now at the Rajbiraj-based Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital for post mortem, said police.
