Youths arrested in possession of counterfeit banknotes

Police has arrested two people along with counterfeit Nepali and Indian currency from Choharwa Chowk, Naraha rural municipality-1 of Siraha district on Sunday evening. Those arrested in this connection are 32-year-old Roshan Kumar Yadav of Naraha rural municipality-2 and 16-year-old Mahesh Kumar Yadav of Sahidnagar municipality-2, Dhanusha district. A police team mobilized at Naya Choharwa Chowk confiscated 15 Nepali currency notes of Rs 1,000 denomination and three Indian currency notes of Rs 2,000 denomination from them while searching the motorcycle (Ja 5 Pa 6209) they had been riding at that time, the District Police Office, Siraha said.
