Excessive snowfall in Manang

Incessant snowfall since Tuesday evening has badly affected daily life in upper Manang. With snow blanketing the upper parts of the district, the temperature has dipped and freezing cold has gripped the normal life in Nesyang, Narphu and Chame rural municipalities. The areas are witnessing heavy snowfall and blowing of wind. The area is under one feet of snow, said Dhawa Chhiring, local of Chame. Meanwhile, domestic and foreign tourists in the district are enjoying the snowfall.
