The Joint Nepali Central Service Association, Kolkata, has organized a free health camp for those visiting Gangasagar Fair at Babughat, Kolkata, India.
Speaking at an inaugural ceremony of the camp, Nepal's Consul General in Kolkata, Ek Narayan Aryal, expressed happiness for launching the camp to provide service to the Nepali and Indian pilgrims visiting the fair.
He also announced to provide financial assistance to the camp.
Association President Nar Bikram Thapa said that they have been providing service to the pilgrims visiting the fair by running the camp for the past 21 years. The fair is organized on the occasion of Maghe Sakranti.
Indian doctors, nurses as well as Nepali volunteers have been carrying out treatment and providing medicines to the patients.
