Dhurmus-Suntali Foundation distributes blankets in Saptari

The Dhurmus-Suntali Foundation has distributed blankets to the poor people of Saptari district. A total of 155 poor families of Topa and Koiladi received the warm clothing each amid a program held Thursday in the district, said the Foundation’s Chairperson and comedian Sitaram Kattel. Likewise, the local district administration also gave out blankets to approximately 200 poor families at Shambhunath municipality-6, 7 and 8. Nepal Red Cross Society provided the financial help. The cold-caused death toll has reached 20. Police data puts the toll at eight, however.
