Free lodging, food and health camp is going to be organized for Nepali pilgrims visiting Gangasagar fair to be organized from January 11 on the occasion of Maghe Sakranti.
Advisor of Joint Nepali Central Service Association, Ganesh Pradhan, told Rastriya Samachar Samiti that the Nepalis living in Kolkata of India have been helping those Nepalis facing different problems including language in the fair by forming the Association.
There is a tradition of worshiping the hermitage of the ancient Kapil Muni by taking holy bath at the confluence of the Ganga and Sagar rivers in Kolkata on the occasion of Maghe Sakranti. Thousands of Nepalis visit the fair.
A camp would be organized at Babughat to provide service to the pilgrims. The camp would be run till January 18.
