One more suspected cold-related death in Saptari

One more suspected death from brutal winter weather has been reported in Saptari, the district in the southern plain. The victim is one Bhatanidevi Yadav, of around 65 years of age, of Tirhut Rural Municipality-1. According to the police, she was found dead in bed Monday morning. With this, the number of suspected cold-related deaths has reached 11 while six had already been confirmed succumbed to cold in the district. Yadav’s body has been brought to the Rajbiraj-based Gajendra Narayan Singh Sagarmatha Zonal Hospital for a post-mortem, said Deputy Superintendent of Police, Dhruba Kumar Shrestha.
