A cemented bridge has been built over the Seti River at Chor Sanghu of Pokhara-Lekhnath Metropolitan City.
House of Representatives member Rabindra Adhikari inaugurated the bridge constructed at a total cost of Rs 16.8 million. It connects the ward no 7 and 15 of the Pokhara Lekhnath Metropolis.
The construction cost was borne by the Department of Local Infrastructure Development and Agriculture Road (70%) and District Coordination Committee (30%).
The bridge is 29.9 meters long and 7 meters wide. People of wards number 7, 9, 14, 15 and 17 will be benefited with the construction of the bridge.
On the occasion, Adhikari who had won the recent election to the House of Representatives from the CPN-UML ticket, said the left alliance comprising UML and CPN (Maoist Center) had got people’s verdict to run the government for the next five years through the election and there was no doubt that people would choose it for the next tenure if the alliance lived up to its commitments. “Otherwise, there is no need to make it victorious again.”
