The Indian government has rescued seven Nepal girls trafficked to Kenya from Mombasa along with three Indian girls, Indian Minister for External Affairs Sushma Swaraj revealed through Twitter.
"We have rescued three Indian girls from Kenya. The girls were victims of an organised crime syndicate that indulged in trafficking of girls. Seven Nepalese girls were also rescued. Their Passports and phones were taken and they were held captive in Mombasa," Swaraj tweeted.
Swaraj revealed that the rescued Indian girls have already been flown to India. But where the rescued Nepali girls are currently is yet to be know. "I have come to know about that just now. We are trying to find out the details," Secretary at the Foreign Ministry Shanklar Bairagi TOLD Setopati.
