Motorcyclist killed in Lainchaur road accident

A man was killed when the motorcycle (Ba 90 Pa 1400) he was riding skidded off the road and crashed into a column supporting a subway track in Lainchaur in the capital Monday morning, the police said. The deceased has been identified as Sajan Thakuri, 25, of Baglung district. He died in the course of treatment at Teaching Hospital, Maharajgung, said Spokesperson for the Metropolitan Traffic Police Division Ramesh Ranjitkar. Overspeeding is said to be the cause of the accident.
