Twenty-two flood-affected families of Belbari municipality and Kerabari rural municipality-9 have been provided with the cotton quilt, mosquito net, woolen caps and socks Friday.
These goods were provided to the families that have been compelled to live painful life in freezing cold, with the support of Barsha Nepal, eastern region, and in the coordination of Mayalu Haat, a local organization.
Coordinator of Mayalu Haat, Sunita Tiwari (Humagain), said that the families were displaced after the flood on Lohandra rivulet swept their houses during the rainy season.
The goods were provided to 10 families of Belbari-1 and 12 families of Kerabari-9.
