Road expansion begins at Kanyam area

The road expansion drive has begun in Kanyam area of the Mechi Highway. According to the plan, the breadth of the road will be expanded up to 15 meters on both the sides. With the assistance of the technical persons at Road Division Office Ilam and Measurement Section, Suryodaya municipality is expanding breadth on both the sides of the four-kilometer road as per the standards. The road expansion drive has been put in place by forming an Encroachment Problem Solving Office, shared Coordinator Shiva Basnet. He shared that the first phase of tagging the road for expansion has started to increase additional attraction to tourism area, Kanyam.
