Independent Power Producers Association of Nepal (IPPAN) is to organize the Himalayan Hydro Expo 2018 from January 5 to 7.
The Expo has the objective of providing information on investment opportunities in hydropower sector, hydropower production and technologies.
It is expected that the exhibition will contribute to the development and promotion of hydropower sector, the organizers shared at a press conference here Tuesday.
IPPAN President Shailendra Guragain said that during the expo information would be provided about the new and latest technology and knowledge related to hydropower sector that is developing in recent days.
Power producers, agencies importing hydropower generation equipment and machinery, consultants, insurance companies, investors and representatives of banks and financial institutions will participate in the exhibition.
Companies and stakeholders from Nepal, China, India, Norway, South Korea, Austria, Bulgaria, Czech Republic, Italy, Sweden, Britain and Brazil, among other countries, will attend the Expo.
