Free heart checkup camp held in Myagdi

As many as 403 people were provided free heart check-up services at a heart checkup camp set up at Bhurung Tatopani of Annapurna rural municipality in Myagdi district on Saturday. The day-long free heart checkup was organized by the Nepal Red Cross Society, Bhurung Tatopani branch with the technical support from the Sahid Gangalal National Heart Center. People from Annapurna and Raghu Ganga rural municipalities and Beni Municipality benefited from the heart camp, Aatma Tulachan, the health camp coordinator, said. Eleven people were diagnosed with the complicated heart problem at the health camp. Medicines were also provided to the needy patients at the health camp. Arrangements would be made for their treatment including heart operation with the monetary support from the Jayanti Memorial Fund, according to Tulachan.
