Three injured in IED explosion at Siraha Land Revenue Office

Three persons were injured when a bomb exploded at the District Land Revenue Office, Siraha, Friday afternoon. The injured are Pawan Paswan, 45, of Siraha municipality-1, who is a paralegal at the office and service seekers—Raj Kumar Paswan and Roshan Paswan of Siraha municipality-12, said Deputy Superintendent of Police, Raj Kumar Bhetwal. The injured are receiving treatment at the District Hospital, Siraha, he added. Wall of the office suffered damages and windowpanes got smashed from the pressure cooker bomb explosion. The bomb was kept under the sofa in front of the office of the Office Chief. An investigation into the incident was underway, said Bhetwal.
