Monetary aid provided to cancer patient

Cancer patient Gopal Prasad Khadka of Katari Municipality-3, Udayapur has been provided with the monetary assistance of Rs 50,000 by the Himali Transport Entrepreneurs Association, Katari. Association chair Shatrudhan Karki reached Khadka's residence Tuesday to hand over the assistance amount for his treatment. The 30-year-old Khadka is finding it hard to manage funds for treatment of leg cancer. Likewise, his local neighbors recently organized a fundraising campaign to assist in his treatment and provided Rs 100,000 to him.
