Fire engine brought from India to douse fire at Birgunj gas factory

A fire engine has been brought from India to douse the fire that engulfed Super Gas Udhyog Ltd based in Bhawanipur of Birgunj-18 in Parsa district Wednesday morning. According to Chief District Officer, Parsa district, Binod Prasad Singh, the fire engine has been brought from India to contain the fire. "The fire could not be doused yet," he said, "So, we've asked for a fire engine from India to take the fire under control." At least two people have been killed, injuring three others in the blaze that broke out at 6 am today. According to the police, the fire broke out due to the leakage of gas from the gas storage tank. It has entirely gutted the fire engine that was dispatched for dousing the fire.
