5th Baglung fair to start from Dec 29

The 5th Baglung festival is set to start from December 29. The fair aims to conserve and promote local art, culture, tourism and establish Baglung's identity, said the fair coordinator Jaya Ram Bhari, also Baglung Chamber of Commerce and Industry. To be organized by the Baglung CCI, the event will run until January 7. It is being organized on the premises of Dhawalagiri Multiple Campus in the district headquarters. Local food items will be put on display, while information about communications and technologies will be provided. Likewise, various competitions including Lokdohori, and volleyball that will showcase art, and culture of Province 4 will also be held, said Bhari. Tourists taking part in the festival will also be given a helicopter ride to make a tour of nearby tourist destinations, said Naresh Kandel of the Baglung CCI.
