Baitadi youths collect fund for Pattal Bhumeshwar's development

Youths from Baitadi district living and working abroad have teamed up to collect fund through the social media Facebook for the development of Pattal Bhumeshwar area. They have, so far, collected more than Rs 100,000 for the development of this area, a major religious tourism destination in Baitadi district. Lying at Surnaya Rural Municipality-2 in the district, the Pattal Bhumeshwar boasts of the deepest underground cave system in the country. The youths from the district who are currently in Malaysia, Qatar and India have created an online group called Pattal Bhumeshwar Youth Awareness Online Campaign and started collecting funds. The group was formed a month back. Money collected through this Facebook campaign will be used for the construction of the main gate to the Pattal Bhumeshwar and other physical infrastructures, Campaign joint treasurer Bir Bahadur Bista said. Rs 101,617 has been collected so far.
