Motorcyclist killed in road mishap

A motorcyclist died in a road accident at Bhalukhola of Shibasathakshi-10 in Jhapa district Friday morning. The deceased has been identified as Sanam Kandangwa, 22, of Shibasathakshi-9, according to Police Inspector at the District Traffic Police Office, Rajesh Rai. The accident took place when the motorcycle (Me 6 Pa 2333) heading toward east from west collided with the van (Ba 10 Cha 9818) coming from opposite direction. Three others including Raju Dahal, 31, of Birtamod-5, his wife Anjana Dahal, 28, and Gita Karki of the same place, who were traveling in the van, were also injured. They are undergoing treatment at the Birtamod-based B&C hospital.
