The Metropolitan Police Crime Division on Thursday arrested at least eight people including the operator of the Durbarmarg-based Club Déjà Vu. According to the chief at the Metropolitan Police Crime Division Diwesh Lohani, the arrestees are the club operator Jayan Shrestha, Mayank Khadka, Bishal Dangi, Milan Shrestha, Prithu Banskota, designer Rajeev Maharjan and club capital Aakash Neupane and Ritesh Madwadi. The nightclub was vandalized on Wednesday night by the irate fans after DJ Marshmello failed to turn up. The club management had been selling the tickets to the visitors from few months stating that the famous DJ would do a live performance. According to police, at least 4,000 people were present at the club on Wednesday. They resorted to vandalism after DJ Marshmello failed to come for his performance.
