The election manifesto jointly prepared by the left alliance has been made public amid a program in the capital on Tuesday.
The election manifesto is jointly released by UML Chairman KP Sharma Oli and Maoist Center Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal in the presence of senior leaders of both parties at a function held at the Royal Banquet at Tinkune in the capital.
The CPN-UML and CPN (Maoist Center) including other fringe left parties forged an alliance for the upcoming November 26 and December 7 elections.
The manifesto has incorporated various popular programs including social security, developmental projects, programs related to economic growth, increasing domestic production, strengthening nationality, lessening in import of goods, and preparing grounds for socialism, among others.
The manifesto has enlisted the point-wise activities to be fulfilled within two, five and 10 years including per capita income of each Nepali would be increased to 5000 US dollar within next 10 years.
The alliance in its manifesto has forwarded a plan of making local-level empowered as well as developing the Kathmandu Valley as an integrated town.
