A question-and-answer session with Prime Minister Balendra Shah is scheduled to be held in the House of Representatives on August 26.
Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal set the schedule for the question-and-answer session.
Lawmakers who wish to ask questions must register their questions with the secretary of the House by August 21.
A total of 15 lawmakers will be allowed to ask questions during the session with the prime minister.
One lawmaker will represent each of the six parties represented in the House, while the remaining eight lawmakers will be selected based on the relative size/standing of the parties. This means more lawmakers from the ruling Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) will get an opportunity to participate in the question-and-answer session.
