The party has decided to appoint Sapana Pariyar of Sunsari as a minister of state.
The new ministers are scheduled to take the oath of office at 3 p.m. on Monday. The selection process was delayed because a large number of NCP lawmakers were seeking ministerial positions.
NCP Koshi in-charge and former chief minister Rajendra Rai, parliamentary party leader Indra Angbo, and provincial chairman Harka Nembang had been tasked with selecting the ministers. The names were finalized after the three leaders held discussions on Monday morning.
