Chief Justice Sharma to leave for three-day India visit on Friday

Chief Justice Manoj Kumar Sharma is set to embark on a three-day visit to India at the invitation of the Supreme Court of India.

This will be Chief Justice Sharma’s first foreign trip.

He is scheduled to depart for New Delhi on Friday to attend a conference being organized to mark the 60th anniversary of the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law.

The event will be held at the administrative building of the Supreme Court in New Delhi.

India’s Law and Justice Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal, External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar, and Chief Justice Surya Kant are scheduled to address the event.

The event will conclude on Sunday, July 26.

Chief Justice Sharma will be accompanied by his wife and his personal secretary, Amit Upreti, on the trip.

According to his secretariat, Chief Justice Sharma is scheduled to return on Sunday after the conclusion of the event.
