Prakash Adhikari appointed House of Representatives secretary

Kathmandu, May 13

President Ram Chandra Paudel has appointed Prakash Adhikari as the secretary of the House of Representatives.

Speaker Dol Prasad Aryal had recommended Adhikari for the position earlier on Wednesday.

As per the constitutional and legal provisions, the secretary of the House of Representatives is appointed by the president upon the recommendation of the speaker.

Adhikari is a resident of Khandbari Municipality-3, Sankhuwasabha.

He holds a master’s degree in rural development from Tribhuvan University, and another in international trade and economic partnership.

Adhikari brings 24 years of experience in the civil service. He retired as an under secretary.
