The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has selected four lawmakers under the proportional representation (PR) system.
A meeting of the party’s central executive committee held on Sunday decided to recommend names for the four proportional seats.
According to party spokesperson Mohan Shrestha, the recommended lawmakers include Bharat Giri from Mahottari under the Khas Arya male category, Tahir Ali from Rupandehi under the Muslim male category, Khushbu Oli from Jhapa under the Khas Arya female category, and Saraswati Lama from Dhading under the Janajati female category.
The names have been sent to the Election Commission.
In the House of Representatives election held on March 5, the RPP won four seats under the proportional representation system and one seat under the direct (first-past-the-post) system.
